Brixx Wood Fired Pizza
Brixx Wood Fired Pizza is a fun, friendly neighborhood restaurant that specializes in awesome brick-oven pizzas. Brixx, located in the Greenridge Shopping center on Woodruff Rd in Greenville also offers a nice selection of signature sandwiches, pastas, salads and desserts. The brick ovens enhance the flavors of the pizzas with that amazing, wood-fired taste. They also bake foccacia bread each day for their sandwiches and, when possible, use locally grown produce.
All of the pizzas at Brixx are 10 inches and most run from $8.95 to $10.95. Some notables include the traditional Americo – pepperoni, mushrooms and fresh tomato sauce, the Pear and Gorgonzola – sliced pears, mozzarella, gorgonzola, caramelized onions and toasted walnuts, Pesto Portobello – pesto marinated portabella mushroom slices, spinach, alfredo sauce, parmesan and mozzarella. For the meat lover there’s the Bronx Bomber topped with Italian sausage, Proscuitto, gorgonzola, tomato sauce and fresh oregano. With almost 20 signature pies to choose from, there’s something for everyone.
The restaurant boasts a robust bar scene after the dinner crowd has thinned. After 10pm on Monday through Saturday you can enjoy 2 for 1 pizzas and appetizers. Brixx also offers $2.00 beers after 10pm with great choices like Sam Adams, Purple Haze, Shock Top and others. They offer 24 beers on tap total and 14 different wines by the glass. On Sundays you can take advantage of half price bottles of wine all day.
At Brixx, they care about more than just great-tasting pizza – they also care about the community. “We recycle everything possible, and most of our beers are on tap to eliminate waste”. “We also give back to the community by sponsoring the Hit the Brixx Race in Charlotte, which raises thousands of dollars for Kids Path, a hospice program”. Brixx also supports Girls on the Run and local YMCA programs.
